Hamburger Hashbrown Casserole

Ingredients for this quick, easy casserole.

This recipe is a spin on tater tot casserole, basically substituting hash browns for tater tots.  It’s a yummy meat-and-potatoes (with some veggies snuck in) casserole that both men and kids enjoy.  It freezes well.  Pull it out of the freezer in the morning, cover with tin foil, set the oven to start an hour or two before supper time, and there you have it, a no-stress evening! Ok, maybe not no-stress….but definitely less-stress!!

Layer veggies on top of the burger.

Spread cream soup or homemade cream sauce over top of veggies, and top with cheese. Cover with foil, pop in the oven for an hour, and enjoy!

As with all of my recipes, it’s pretty flexible.  Substitute the veggies for whatever is in the freezer, cut back the burger or use sausage, whatever.  It’s hard for me to put these things into recipes, because I rarely ever make a dish the same way twice!!

And here, is the link to a printable recipe for this dish.  All calories accounted for and everything.  Thanks SparkRecipes!!

Obligatory cute kid picture.
